South Dakota Minimum Wage Will Increase on January 1, 2016

The South Dakota Department of Labor and Regulation updated the minimum wage posting to reflect the 2016 minimum wage of $8.55 per hour and $4.275 per hour for tipped employees. The minimum wage will take effect on January 1, 2016; however, the updated posting no longer specifies an effective start date.

Effective date: 1/1/2016

The South Dakota All-In-One State and Federal Poster has been updated to include this new change on the recommended posting.
