The Missouri Division of Labor Standards has updated the Missouri Minimum Wage notice. Beginning January 1, 2017 the wage rate for Missouri will be $7.70 and may increase or decrease January 1, 2018. The wage rate for tipped employees will be $3.85.

New Malibu Minimum Wage Poster: Mandatory for All Malibu, CA Employers

Malibu Minimum Wage Poster

The City of Malibu has released their Minimum Wage poster. Beginning July 1, 2016 the minimum wage increased to $10.50 per hour for large employers. On July 1, 2017 the minimum wage will increase to the same amount for small employers. Both wage rates will keep increasing on July 1st of every year until it reaches $15 per hour for large employers on July 1, 2020 and July 1, 2021 for small employers. The poster additionally states an employees protection of rights, an initial compensation disclosure statement, and information regarding the illegality of retaliation by an employer.

Mandatory Change to New York’s Permitted Working Hours for Minors Notice

Permitted Working Hours for Minors Notice

The New York Department of Labor has updated their Permitted Working Hours for Minors Under 18 Years of Age notice. The age range for any farm work has been changed to 14 to 18 years of age. Lastly, the revision date has been updated to 9/16.

Mandatory Change to District of Columbia’s Minimum Wage

Minimum Wage

The District of Columbia Department of Employment Services Office of Wage and Hour has updated the Minimum Wage notice. Minimum Wage rates beginning from July 1, 2016 to July 1, 2020 are now listed. Beginning in 2021, the minimum wage will increase during each successive year pursuant to the Consumer Price Index. Additionally, content regarding the Wage Theft Prevention Act removing adult learners as minimum wage exceptions has been added. Lastly, newly hired persons 18 years of age or older must be paid the established District of Columbia minimum wage immediately upon hire.

Recommended Change to Maryland’s Minor Fact Sheet

Mandatory Change to Pennsylvania’s Unemployment Compensation Notice

Unemployment Compensation

The Pennsylvania Unemployment Compensation Notice has been updated to include a QR code for easy online application. The list of items an applicant must provide has been edited to now include ‘Most recent pay stub’ and ‘Personal Identification Number’ (PIN). Applications can now be made online by visiting www.uc.pa.gov. Lastly, the revision date has been updated to 09-16.

Mandatory Change to Florida’s Minimum Wage Notice

The Florida Department of Economic Opportunity has updated the Florida Minimum Wage poster. Beginning January 1, 2017 the minimum wage will increase to $8.10 per hour for non-tipped employees and $5.08 per hour for tipped employees.
