Mandatory Change to Alaska’s Minimum Wage Notice

The Alaska Department of Labor and Workforce Development has updated their Minimum Wage poster. Beginning January 1, 2017, the minimum wage for the state of Alaska will be $9.80 per hour. The new revision date is January 2017.

Effective Date: 1/1/2017

Recommended Change to Alaska’s Unemployment Insurance Notice to Employees

The Alaska Department of Labor and Workforce Development has updated their Unemployment Insurance posting to reflect the “Division of Employment and Training Services” as the new name for the department that covers the program in Alaska. Additionally, the posting has an updated logo and revision date of June 2015.

This posting went into effect: 6/1/2015

Alaska Unemployment Insurance Notice is updated. Recommended Change.

The Alaska Department of Labor & Workforce Development has updated their Unemployment Insurance Notice to Employees with a new website and email address, along with other minor changes. A new revision date has been added to the posting. Osha4less.com recommends that employers operating in the State of Alaska update their current labor law poster to accommodate this change.
