Note: On July 24th 2009, the Montana Minimum Wage increased from $6.90/hour to $7.25/hour. The Montana Minimum Wage Order regulates wages, hours, overtime and working conditions for employees. The new Wage Order supercedes any previous Wage Order and is a mandatory posting for all businesses in Montana. All employers must comply with state laws regulating payment of minimum wage, overtime and general working conditions.

The State of Montana requires employers to post labor law postings in each facility where employees and applicants can view them. Failure to comply with posting regulations can result in fines.
