This Injury and Illness Prevention Program - Certified for California as mandated by SB 228 helps the employer establish, implement and maintain and effective injury prevention program. The following safety and health areas covered are: codes of safe practices, employee rights, employee responsibilities, record review and action plan, documentation, hazardous equipment, hazardous assessment & control, job hazardous identification, accident investigation and analysis process, corrective action, safety inspections and audits, emergency evacuation and fire protection, record keeping and the establishment of a safety committee. The Workplace Security Plan portion of the Injury and Illness Prevention Program provides guidelines for controls and procedures for the employee to handle potentially dangerous situations in the following areas: symptoms of violent behavior, levels of violent behavior, workplace security plan, compliance and communication, hazard assessment and inspections, inc.
